Why Choose Us for an Educational Visit:

We have 2 sites, both of which offer catered residential visits with adventurous activities.

Ackers Adventure: Our activities take part in over 75 acres of diverse landscape and habitats ranging from open grassland, woodland and marsh cut through by the River Cole, the Grand Union Canal, and Mainline Railways. This creates a fascinating area to have a great outdoor adventure. Pupils can take part in exciting activities like Archery, Axe Throwing, Bellboat, Bushcraft, Canoe, Climb, Disc Golf, Orienteering, Skiing, Team Building, Tubing, Tower Drop and Zip Wire. Each designed to enhance their understanding of classroom subjects through real-world, hands-on experiences. These activities help students visualise and apply principles from science, geography, and teamwork in an interactive outdoor setting, making learning both exciting and memorable.

Ackers Woodland Adventure is nestled in an idyllic woodland setting next door to West Midlands Safari Park, Bewdley. Ackers Woodland resides in 45 acres of unspoiled woodland and is brimming with activities that take full advantage of the environment. Scale the heights of the climbing tower, test your skills in archery, explore our artificial caving system and enjoy marshmallow toasting around the campfire. Included in each trip is a visit to West Midlands Safari Park for Creature Feature.
