Twist Museum is the perfect location for a school trip with a difference. It is a fun, immersive, interactive playground for your perceptions, centrally located on London’s iconic Oxford Street. Where art, science and sensory play come together in one unforgettable adventure.
National Curriculum Links
Developed in collaboration with experts in art, psychology and neuroscience, and with an educational framework developed in consultation with Fiona MacPherson – Professor of Philosophy at the University of Glasgow, Twist Museum, London’s immersive experience, is the perfect location for an educational trip with a difference.
Twist Learning Resources
Twist’s Education Programme uses interactive exhibits and exclusive learning resources, developed in collaboration with Science Magician, Dr Matt Pritchard, to engage students in the curriculum and foster active learning that ensures continued enthusiasm in the classroom.
Guided Tours
Guided Tours are available for school groups. These must be booked in advance.

The Twist School Resources pack also includes Maths, English and PSHE activities to complete in the classroom.

Twist Museum has been nominated for the 2025 School Travel Awards Best Museum Visit and holds the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge.
Group Sizes Catered For:
KS2, KS3, KS4, KS5, 16+ Education and University students.
There are no restrictions on group sizes. We can accommodate groups of any size.

Risk Assessment:
Schools are responsible for their own risk assessments. A copy of Twist’s School Visits Risk Assessment can be obtained by emailing education@twistmuseum.com
Teachers can book a free pre-visit to complete their risk assessment and plan their trip. A Duty Manager will take the teacher on a tour of the museum and answer any questions they might have.

Pricing Information:
School group bookings are heavily discounted.
School group bookings with a minimum of 10 students, visiting Monday – Friday during the UK school term: £10 per student, with one free adult for every 10 students. Extra teacher tickets can be purchased at the discounted rate of £16.50. Terms and Conditions apply.

Facilities:
A storage area for coats and bags for school groups and free lockers for valubles.
A seating area within the main foyer designated for school groups to sit and complete written activities or to eat a packed lunch.
A gift shop which includes pocket money items.
A vending machine for drinks and snacks.
Accessibility and Disabled Facilities:
Twist Museum aims to be a highly accessible venue. It is wheelchair accessible, with the exception of two exhibits that are on an incline.
Accessible and unisex toilets.
Email education@twistmuseum.com in advance to discuss specific accessibility requirements, the team will do their best to meet them.
Opening Hours:
Twist is open seven days a week. Opening hours vary slightly throughout the year. Twist is often able to accommodate school groups before opening to the general public so do contact the team with your preferred date and arrival time and they will do their best to accommodate you.
