Schools that visit The Beatles Story will have a fantastic experience! From visiting our exhibition and learning all about The Beatles to participating in activities and having valuable learning opportunities in our Discovery Zone. Our Education Team put the importance of learning and the wellbeing of children at the heart of their work. Young people can use our ‘Fun Trails’ to help them discover more about The Beatles and guide them through our exhibition.

We also cater to high school and university visits by providing opportunities to sit down and learn more about The Beatles through our talks and workshops. We love to cater to all ages and needs!

Group Sizes Catered For

We can accommodate many different group sizes by ensuring your group receive the best experience possible. For example; if you have 60 in your group we would split you into two groups to ensure each learner receives the best tailored experience they can.

Itineraries, Resources, and Workshops

A typical day at The Beatles Story for primary schools provides a visit around the exhibition with a Fun Trail, time in the Chill Out to relax and have lunch and experience the Discovery Zone with our wonderful Education Team to show you around and help you learn more about The Beatles!

There are loads of resources to choose from like reading a book all about The Beatles, listening to The Beatles famous songs on the record player or dancing up and down our Giant Piano!

During school holidays we provide themed workshops that link to The Beatles and what is happening in the world! For example; create a Halloween costume for The Beatles!

We offer workshops tailored to high school and university groups all about The Beatles… of course! These are tailored to certain topics such as The Sgt. Pepper Album.

Risk Assessment

We have risk assessments in place to ensure maximum safety at all times, especially during school visits.

Each part of The Beatles Story has a risk assessment to help ourselves and visitors understand the potential risks that could be at hand. However, we ensure to have measures in place to prevent these risks from happening, but it is important to be aware of them.

Pricing Information

With educational visits, groups can book and receive an education discount on their ticket. This includes a visit through the exhibition as well as time in our Discovery Zone and Chill Out area for primary school bookings.

For each group of 10 students/children an accompanying adult will receive free admission. Any additional adults will receive 20% discount on their admission fee. Students receive a 20% education discount on their admission ticket and children receive a 25% discount on their ticket.

Facilities

We have a wonderful Discovery Zone where children can explore and develop as individuals and expand their learning opportunities.

We have a Giant Piano were children are able to play along to their favorite Beatles song as it lights up the notes. This is a fun engaging way to promote motor skills and critical thinking. However, it is not just for kids, it is great fun for all of the family!

We also have a ‘NEMS’ in our Discovery Zone, where you can pick a record to play and dance along to, whilst dressed up in your favourite 80’s outfits! Don’t like to dance and sing? No problem, we also have a reading area to chill on bean bags and read all about The Beatles… and The Yellow Submarine!

Included in our Discovery Zone is a craft area where we like to colour in pictures, make some art and have time to think about The Beatles and the music they made.

Monday – Friday: closed

Saturday and Sunday: 10am – 3pm

School Holidays: 10am – 3pm every day
