We are unique! We create a full-sized, temporary campsite at your school, with a host of amazing outdoor activities for your students to enjoy. They will build their resilience, engage with nature and strengthen their teamwork skills.

We understand that nobody wants a whirlwind coming through their school, that’s why we plan every activity, every event and all communication in fine detail. The only surprise is just how much fun you will have.

Group Sizes Catered For:

The Big School Camp team want the whole year group to enjoy this amazing experience together! Having a Big School Camp situated in the school grounds reduces the cost of providing these enriching experiences for pupils. By making it truly affordable, schools can ensure that 100% of their students can get involved.

Itineraries, Resources, and Workshops:

We offer head teachers the opportunity to give every child the option to take part in a wide range of activities during the day and to spend the night under the stars. We have designed our events so that we not only meet but exceed, many elements of the new national curriculum. Our activities now provide thousands of children across the country with unique and unrivalled experiences which they will remember for their entire lives, whilst at the same time making it fully affordable for schools and, most importantly, parents.

All our camps deliver unrivalled fun. Our fully supervised activities include Bushcraft, Life Skills, Team Building, Fire Lighting all of which present both mental and physical challenges. There may also be a bit of singing along the way too.

Our camp timetable is structured around running multiple group activities over 5 – 8 sessions per day. We work closely with schools at every step of the planning stage to make sure that every activity is inclusive and we utilise our time on site as effectively as possible

Pricing Information:

The cost of living is having a major impact on children accessing these valuable outdoor experiences. The amount parents are spending on school trips a year averages out to £266. This can prove a real problem for some families. We want to change this! Big School Camp is the most accessible school activities programme in the UK, costing from as little as just £25 per child.

Facilities:

Each camp is carefully tailored to meet the particular needs of each individual school each one is truly unique! We consult with the school during the planning stages to ensure that every criteria is met, with consideration given to making the activities accessible for all children. For schools which do not have the space or the facilities, we even have our very own campsite located in ancient woodland just outside Horsham, West Sussex.
