What We Offer Visiting Schools
Cambridge Science Centre provides interactive, curriculum-aligned STEM programmes for school groups. Our programmes immerse students in science through hands-on exhibits and dynamic workshops tailored to different age groups and learning levels. Students can explore our 20+ interactive exhibits and dive into lab and workshop sessions that cover core science concepts. Our itineraries typically include free-flow and guided exhibit and lab space exploration and themed workshops.
Risk Assessment
We prioritise safety, conducting comprehensive risk assessments for all activities and providing support for teachers to assess any specific risks for their group. Staff are trained in first aid, are DBS checked, and we maintain a good staff-to-student ratio for added supervision.

A single class visit prices starts at £200, with options to bring more than one class. Contact us for current pricing and any seasonal offers.
Facilities
Cambridge Science Centre offers a main Centre space packed with hands-on exhibits, plus we have accessible classrooms, and a designated picnic area.
Toilets and an independently run café for light refreshments are also available.
Accessibility and Disabled Facilities
The centre is wheelchair accessible. We have disabled parking and accessible toilet.
Opening Hours
We are open Monday to Friday, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, for school visits during term times (following Cambridge County Council school holidays calendar). Extended or bespoke hours may be available upon request.
