Alongside these attractions, students will have the opportunity to explore the Promenade, indulge in traditional seaside treats, and participate in evening activities that foster team-building and fun. So, fasten your seatbelts and get ready for an unforgettable journey in Blackpool!

10:00 AM – Arrival by Coach
Arrive in Blackpool and head to your first attraction of the day.

10:30 Am – 12:00 Blackpool Zoo

Embark on an educational adventure at Blackpool Zoo, a renowned zoological park that provides an engaging and interactive experience for students. Blackpool Zoo offers specially designed educational programs and resources for school trips, catering to various age groups and curriculum objectives. Guided tours led by knowledgeable zoo staff can provide students with insights into animal behavior, conservation efforts, and the importance of biodiversity. Students can observe a diverse range of animal species up close, including big cats, primates, reptiles, and birds, fostering an appreciation for wildlife and its preservation.

Educational workshops and presentations can be arranged, allowing students to delve deeper into specific topics related to biology, zoology, and conservation. Blackpool Zoo also offers opportunities for students to engage in hands-on activities, such as feeding sessions or encounters with selected animals, providing a memorable and interactive experience.

12:30 – 1:00 PM: Lunch
Have a packed lunch at a designated picnic area within Blackpool, such as Stanley Park or the sandy beach, enjoying the fresh sea breeze.

1:30 PM – 3:30 PM: SEA LIFE Blackpool
Explore the wonders of the ocean at SEA LIFE Blackpool. Encounter a variety of marine creatures, learn about their habitats, and gain insight into marine conservation efforts. Engage in interactive exhibits and educational presentations, providing students with a hands-on learning experience.

3:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Blackpool Central Library and Grundy Art Gallery
Explore the world of literature and art at the Blackpool Central Library and Grundy Art Gallery, located in close proximity to each other. The Blackpool Central Library offers a wealth of resources and knowledge, giving students the opportunity to browse through books, engage in research, or discover local historical archives.
Adjacent to the library, the Grundy Art Gallery showcases a range of contemporary and historical art exhibitions.  Guided tours or workshops can be arranged, allowing students to delve deeper into the exhibits and gain insights into art history and creative techniques.

5:00 PM – 5:30 PM – Check into Accommodation

5:30 PM – 6:30 PM: Free Time
Take a break and relax after a long day, giving students time to unwind before dinner. Students can explore the local area and Blackpool Promenade, engage in group activities, or enjoy leisure time as they prepare for the evening.

6:30 PM – 7:30 PM: Dinner
Straight from your exploration of the town, head to a local restaurant that caters for large groups.

Day 2

7:00 AM – 8:00 AM: Breakfast at Accommodation

Blackpool Tower Attractions

Today, all activities will be centred around the Blackpool Tower, offering a day filled with exciting and educational experiences for the school trip. The Blackpool Tower is an iconic landmark that showcases a range of attractions, each providing unique opportunities for learning and exploration.

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Peter Rabbit
The day begins with a visit to Peter Rabbit, where students can embark on an interactive adventure with Peter Rabbit and his friends. Through storytelling and exploration, students can engage in imaginative play, fostering creativity and teamwork.

11:00 Am – 12:30 PM: Madame Tussauds Blackpool
Students will have the chance to get up close and personal with their favourite celebrities and historical figures. They can pose for photos with incredibly lifelike wax replicas, creating fun and memorable moments. This interactive experience allows students to immerse themselves in the world of entertainment, culture, and history, fostering an appreciation for notable individuals and their contributions to society.

1:00 PM – 2:30 PM: The Blackpool Tower Circus
Next, students will be treated to an awe-inspiring performance at The Blackpool Tower Circus. They will have the opportunity to witness world-class acrobats and entertainers showcasing their incredible skills. This experience promotes an appreciation for performing arts and inspires students to embrace creativity and perseverance.

2:30 PM – 4:00 PM: The Blackpool Dungeon
Afterwards, students will venture into the dark and intriguing world of The Blackpool Dungeon. Led by live actors, they will embark on a journey through Blackpool’s history, experiencing the town’s darkest tales through interactive shows and thrilling rides. This immersive experience combines entertainment with historical knowledge, encouraging students to reflect on the past and the impact of human actions.

4:00 PM – 5:30 PM: The Blackpool Tower Eye
Finally, students will ascend to the observation deck of The Blackpool Tower Eye, where they can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the town and coastline. From this vantage point, they can gain a unique perspective of Blackpool’s geography and landmarks, deepening their understanding of the local area and its significance.

Throughout their time at the Blackpool Tower group, students will engage in activities that promote imagination, appreciation for the arts, historical understanding, and geographical awareness. It is designed to stimulate curiosity, creativity, and a sense of wonder, fostering a holistic learning experience for students on their school trip to Blackpool.

6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Dinner
Tonight, enjoy a delightful meal at your accommodation, where you can relax and share your favourite moments from the day.

7:00 PM – 8:30 PM: Evening Activity
Take your students out for a walk and explore Blackpool beach. Plan some fun games and team building activities they can do on the beach.

Day 3

7:00 AM – 8:00 AM: Breakfast

9:00 AM – 12:30 AM: Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Reward your students with a trip to Blackpool Pleasure Beach where they can enjoy over 125 different rides and attractions including the UK’s only Nickelodeon Land. They offer both thrills and educational sessions with guided tours, talks, interactive sessions and creative workshops to explore science, technology, engineering, art and math.

12:30  – 1:30 PM: Lunch at Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Round up the kids and them ready for departure. Take a quick lunch break at one of the restaurants located on site which cater for school groups before departing on your journey home.

1:30 PM: Departure by Coach
Bid farewell to Blackpool as you board the coach and embark on your journey back to school, cherishing the memories made during your trip.
Allow for approximately 2 hours of travel time back to the school.

As we bid farewell to Blackpool, we reflect on the incredible educational journey that has taken place during this school trip. Throughout the itinerary, students have engaged in a variety of activities that have enhanced their learning across multiple subjects. From exploring history and performing arts at the Blackpool Tower attractions to delving into biology and conservation at Blackpool Zoo and SEA LIFE Blackpool, students have gained a deeper understanding of various disciplines. They have also witnessed the application of science principles at Blackpool Pleasure Beach and learned about history, art and culture at Madame Tussauds Blackpool, Blackpool Central Library and Grundy Art Gallery. This trip has demonstrated that education extends beyond the classroom, where students combine excitement and education and helping to foster a love for learning and connecting academic knowledge to real-world experiences.
