Rock Pools & Rocky Shores at The Deep

Between 18th July- 6th September, join us for a fun-filled summer where families of all ages can discover more about the fascinating creatures that call UK rockpools home.

🦀 What to Expect:
•    Interactive Rockpool Activity: Explore the wonders of the seashore with our tactile artificial rockpool. Use our iSpy activity sheet to help identify the different species!
•    Hands-On Discovery: Learn all about our rocky shores with our fossil artefact station. Assisted by our Crew, crack open your own fossils and discover what’s inside! Stop by our candling stand to ‘sea’ if you can spot something hidden in your shark egg case!
•    Seashore Safari Sessions: Running at 12pm & 2pm daily, we’ll be sharing important tips on how to enjoy the coast safely alongside a weekly species spotlight series!
•    Meet Native Species: Get close up with amazing marine life, including many UK native species in our Cool Seas habitat!
