+ MY LISTIt’s almost midnight on Christmas eve and Santa has steamed into Hopetown Darlington on Locomotion No.1. He’s taking a quick rest before he sets off all around the world delivering presents. There’s just one problem – the reindeer have escaped into the enchanted forest! Can you help him find them?

With the magnificent, newly-restored replica Locomotion No. 1 as a stunning centrepiece, the historic Carriage Works has been transformed into a snow-covered, fantastical forest of magical trees and woodland creatures – and of course, Santa’s missing reindeer.

Schools are invited to take a wondrous wintery walk, hunt for clues and find all the reindeer so Santa can get on his way for his most important journey of the year – from Christmas eve into Christmas day. All pupils will receive a certificate at the end of the trail.

Pupils will then meet Santa in his magical sleigh to tell him what they would like for Christmas this year, and to receive an early Christmas present!
