Day 1

12:00 PM: Your school group arrives in York, setting the stage for an artistic adventure.

12:30 PM – 2:30 PM: Hop-on, Hop-off Open Top Bus Tour of York

2:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Jorvik Viking Centre

6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Dinner

7:30 PM – 9:00 PM: Ghost Walk

The evening is dedicated to history and the arts as students join The Original Ghost Walk of York. York’s eerie tales become a source of inspiration for creative storytelling and artwork.

Day 2

8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Breakfast

Start the day with a hearty breakfast that fuels both the mind and body for the adventures ahead.

9:00 AM – 11:30 AM: York’s Chocolate Story

Embark on a sweet and educational journey at York’s Chocolate Story, where art and culinary skills combine. Students participate in hands-on chocolate crafting workshops, connecting creativity with gastronomy.

12:00 – 12:30 PM: Lunch

 A lunch break at the York Shambles Food Court where you and your students can choose from a variety of worldly cuisines from a selection of great food vendors. 

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: York Minster

Your school group visits the York Minster, an architectural masterpiece. This Gothic cathedral’s stunning stained glass windows and intricate stone carvings offer endless opportunities for artistic expression and documentation.

3:00 PM – 5:00 PM: York Art Gallery

Immerse your students in the world of art at the York Art Gallery. This museum houses an impressive collection of paintings, ceramics, and contemporary art. 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM: York Castle Museum

2:00 PM: Departure home

It’s time to bid farewell to York, count the children and board the coach for the journey home.
