BeWILDerwood Cheshire

Take your learning outside of the classroom at BeWILDerwood Cheshire and watch the children be inspired from traditional play in a 70-acre natural woodland. A day trip to BeWILDerwood is the perfect treat to celebrate and reward hard work, as well as providing unique learning opportunities.

BeWILDerwood Cheshire is an outdoor woodland adventure park full of imagination and active play. No matter how teeny or tall you are, explorers can run WILD in the woods! Think magical treehouses and the biggest wonky wooden play structures you can imagine, high up in the trees. Explore giant slippery slides, wobbly zip wires, massive, muddled mazes, plus lots more.

Based on the enchanting book series by creator and author Tom Blofeld, you will find hints of the curious characters as you journey through the WILD wood in Cheshire. Located on along the A49, just 5 miles from Whitchurch.

BeWILDerwood Norfolk opened in 2007 and has welcomed thousands of school groups over the years. 2021 saw the opening of BeWILDerwood Cheshire and we can’t wait to start welcoming groups to the WILD woods.

The park is based on the book, A Boggle at BeWILDerwood, offering a whole range of literacy and performing arts fun – see the pages come alive at our interactive storytelling sessions.
There are heaps of science related topics you can explore whilst adventuring through the woods: the natural environment and the critters that live here, ponder the worlds physics… how do zip wires work?

Geography? We’ve got you covered! Grab a map and explore the BeWILDerwood terrain.

Arts and crafts? Have a go at designing, and maybe even crafting your very own Boggle or Twiggle house when you get back to the classroom.

Physical education – a day out at BeWILDerwood is incredibly active and you’ll certainly be worn out when heading home! Zip wires, slippery slides, climbing up to the treetops, heaps of ground play to balance along… there’s plenty of opportunity for young explorers to be brave and work on physical coordination.
