School Trip to Edinburgh

Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland is renowned for its heritage, culture and festivals. A School trip to Edinburgh are a great experience for children and teachers wishing to visit as it’s steeped in history and cultural attractions have made it the United Kingdom’s second most popular tourist destination after London.

To the south the view is dominated by Edinburgh Castle, built high on the castle rock, and the long sweep of the Old Town descending towards Holyrood Palace. Other historic sites in Edinburgh include the churches of St. Giles, Greyfriars and the Canongate, and the extensive Georgian New Town, built in the 18th century.
