Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Bristol by lunchtime and check in to your accommodation. In the afternoon, walk to the riverside pier for a Ferry boat trip choosing a general commentary or adding a Harbour Tour Extra with tailored commentary and extra classroom resources. Gather your sea legs before enjoying an evening meal near your accommodation then heading out to meet your guide for a slightly spooky ghost walk.

Day 2

In the morning, enjoy visiting the historic ship, Brunel’s SS Great Britain, taking advantage of the extensive range of interactive workshops, guided tours and self-guided learning resources. In the afternoon explore collections of art, nature and history on display at Bristol Museum and Art Gallery. Alternatively, visit M Shed, a museum all about Bristol, its places, people and stories. In the evening, fun and games can be had at Laser Fusion after your dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3 

Today, it’s time to visit We The Curious science centre for unique science experiences designed to spark interest and build confidence including Planetarium Show. Alternatively if you decide not to spend the day at the science centre, you could visit Bristol Cathedral for tour and workshop. After dinner, enjoy some free time to reflect on the day.

Day 4

After breakfast, make the short journey to Noah’s Ark Farm Zoo to experience a comprehensive range of workshops, all delivered with a hands-on-focus which offers an opportunity to meet the animals close-up. After lunch continue your journey back to school.
